I love the beauty of tulle, the way it flows and moves. I love the softness and the elegance. I love the transformation that takes place when I wrap girls and women in the beautiful layers.

It's transformational. I wrap my long tulle skirt around the waist of my daughter and her shoulders soften. She loves the way it makes her feel. She feels timeless and beautiful and like the masterpiece that she is.

Other moms have started asking me about my tulle sessions, but they have been asking with reservation. "My daughter would never do that" or "I don't know how you would get my daughter to sit still."

I am writing today to let you know that your daughter is no different than my daughter. I get mere seconds to capture these beautiful images. My daughter, like your daughter, wants to change the music, she needs a stretch break (and she rolls on the floor in the tulle skirt), she itches off the tulle wrap, she rolls her eyes, and she does her best to stick her tongue out right as I am photographing her. Sometimes she is successful. 

But she also laughs, she smiles, and when I show her the portraits she loves them.
