5 STEPS TO THE BEST PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

STEP 1: PLANNING CONSULTATION

Your portrait experience starts with a pre-session consultation where we will discuss how you want to be photographed and who you want to be photographed with. We will talk about your personal style and everything you love. Your session should reflect the real you.

Please ask me all your questions at this appointment and share any of your concerns. If you aren't sure how you want to be photographed, don't worry. We will work it out together. 

By this point, you will have already received the MMB Imagery Studio Guide with artwork pricing information. We will go over all of your artwork and product questions before you book your session.

STEP 2: BOOKING YOUR SESSION

After your consultation, if you are ready to book your photoshoot, your session fee of $750 is due to secure the date of your shoot. 

Your session fee includes your consultation, the design of your session, your photoshoot with fully guided poses, a same-day image reveal immediately after your photoshoot, and $500 in credit toward the beautiful portraits we create together.

STEP 3: DESIGNING YOUR SESSION

After your booking is confirmed, a private mood board will be created so we can start sharing ideas. This is a lot of fun and helps me visualize your style and personal taste. You can share anything you like from poses, outfits, colors, moods, etc. Once we have an idea of how we are going to style your session, you can start shopping for accessories or clothes. You probably already have most things in your closet, but this is also a great excuse to buy that outfit you have had your eyes on. I can also help with websites that rent designer outfits. 

STEP 4: YOUR PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

Finally, the most exciting day is here. Please make sure you rest the night before. Check the list I created for you so everything is checked off. You will be my celebrity for a day, and we will create magic together. It’s a fun day, so enjoy! Right after your photoshoot, you get to see all the images and select your favorite photos or packages. You also get to choose the level of retouching on your photos. 

On the day of your session, you can do your own hair and/or make up or you can hire a hair and makeup stylist of your choice. I work with stylists that will come to the location of your photoshoot, and I am happy to coordinate an appointment for you if you would like to use one of my stylists. 

STEP 5: YOUR ARTWORK

Approximately 4 to 6 weeks after your photoshoot, your artwork will be ready for you to pick up. The digital copies will be emailed to you in advance once they are retouched and paid for in full. I will be in touch with you to schedule the best time for the pick up of your images.
