"Every story is beautiful, but ours in my favorite."
Three wonderful children walked into my portrait studio with their dad. I said hello and warmly introduced myself to the children. Because this session was a surprise for mom for Valentine’s Day (how amazing is that?), I was lucky enough to get to pick out dresses for the girls. Playing dress up is really fun, but shopping for dresses is just as fun. I had the dresses shipped to the studio so mom would not suspect a thing.
I asked the girls if they liked to play dress-up and they both smiled and said yes. When I pulled out the dresses, the lace and ruffles swished back and forth on the hanger. Both girls giggled and squealed. Then I got to pull out the flower headbands and the girls giggled and swooned again.
I love the colors, the tones, the textures, and most of all, the children in these portraits. I love the strong, dynamic presence of the son, the spunk and fire in the youngest daughter who did not want her ribbon tied, and the equally balanced mix of elegance and playfulness in the older daughter.
This is what it’s like to photograph love.
From my heart to yours. I’m so grateful to be part of your family legacy. Thank you for choosing me to be your photographer.
Love and Light,
