Beauty has no boundaries. It does not diminish with age. It does not “grow old,” it only grows, evolves, and continues to expand. Although it can be easy for us to see the beauty in others, as women we often struggle to see the beauty in ourselves, but it is there, and it is waiting for our embrace.
In this session, to capture something as beautiful as the woman being photographed, we created a monochromatic look that so perfectly compliments Sylvia’s incredible silver hair.
Monochromatic color schemes are designed with a single base hue and then we pair together multiple shades and tones of the same color. Although monochromatic portraits do not need to be in neutral tones, I find this look particularly beautiful. It both soft and striking, and it allows the true beauty of the individual to take center stage.
If you can’t see your own beauty, it’s not because it is lacking. Sometimes you just need help seeing your reflection in a whole new way. I would love to design a session just for you, and show you what I see.
Request session information to review the studio’s informational PDF and to imagine yourself in portraits. Maybe we could work together to create a monochromatic look of your own.
